Recently we started a new feature at the Streak Gaming Forum. We are doing interviews with managers of some of the different casinos. In any forum, the members are the most important part. Without members, there is no reason to put all the hard work and long hours making it a great place. We have almost 1400 members at Streak Gaming Forum. Not bad for being opened just under a year at this new location.
As in any forum the members are widely diverse. We get members from all over the world. Some members sign up, grab a few free chips, perhaps make a post or two and then disappear never returning again. I feel bad for those members as they don't know all the great things they are missing out on after leaving.
Then there are the members that join, show up many times and just become lurkers. Although I think they would enjoy their membership more if they posted and joined in on all the laughter and chatting that goes on in the forum. However, it is their choice and we value those members as much as all our other members.
The best group of members (in my humble opinion) are the ones that show up quite often and get involved in the forum. They post things they have found on other forums, the post jokes, enter contests, encourage each other and make the forum an enjoyable place to visit. These are the members that you learn to care about and worry when they do not show up for a while. You pray for their families when their is an illness or death in the family. You feel great for them when they get married, have a baby, get a promotion or any other great thing. These are the members you are glad ended up at your forum, no matter how they got there.

Members of each forum try to get the most points for their forum for a month at a time. They get these points for depositing at least $25 and for playing $100. This tournament runs for three months. 2008 is winding to an end and the changes in online gambling have left many confused and angry US players hoping for a change in the laws in the year to come.
